The lawsuit alleges that the City Law Department does not have the authority to grant legal status to hundreds of billboards that are without zoning permits. Click the map below to see the locations of these billboards. Please note: Billboard companies describe the locations of billboards rather than giving street addresses. Many signs are located on scraps of land next to roadways or railroad property. The abbreviations in the captions refer to cardinal directions. S/O is south of, E/S is east side, F/N is facing north, etc. The markers may be slightly inaccurate due to the difficulty of finding the exact street addresses for these locations. However, when zoomed in all the way on satellite view, the billboards should be visible within close proximity of the markers (look for shadows and support structures).
