A-101.1 Title: These provisions shall be known as the Philadelphia Administrative Code hereinafter referred to as "this code".

A-101.2 Scope: The provisions of this code shall serve as the administrative, enforcement and appeals regulations for the technical codes which regulate the site, construction, alteration, addition, repair, abatement, removal, demolition, location, occupancy and maintenance of all buildings, structures and building service equipment within the City of Philadelphia.

A-101.3 Intent: This code shall he construed to secure its expressed intent which is to provide for the clear and consistent administration and enforcement of the technical codes adopted by the City of Philadelphia. The term "technical codes" shall mean the Building, Electrical, Fire Prevention, Mechanical, Plumbing, Property Maintenance Codes (Subcodes "B", "E", "F", "M", "P" and "PM" of this Title and the Zoning Code (Title 14).
