A-304.1 General: The construction documents for new construction, alteration, repairs, expansion, addition or modification for buildings or structures required for a permit application shall be prepared by a registered design professional consistent with the professional registration laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The construction documents shall include the name and address of the registered design professional and shall be signed, sealed and dated by the registered design professional in accordance with the professional registration laws.

A-304.2 Special inspections: Special inspections shall be made in accordance with the Building Code.

A-304.2.1 Building permit requirement: The special inspection requirements shall be determined prior to the issuance of the building permit and shall be a requisite for the permit issuance as described in the Building Code.

A-304.2.2 Fees and costs: All fees and costs related to the performance of special professional services shall be borne by the owner.
