M-807.3 Protection against corrosion: Gas piping in
contact with material that will corrode the piping shall be protected [in an
approved manner] by a wrapping or coating of extruded plastics, plastic applied
as a dry resin, hot-applied bituminous asphalt or coal tar, approved plastic
tapes, approved bituminous tapes, or shall be protected by other approved
protection methods. Where dissimilar metals are joined underground, dielectric
fittings or couplings shall be installed.

M-807.7 Tracer for plastic piping: An insulated copper
tracer wire or other approved conductor shall be installed adjacent to
underground nonmetallic gas piping. Access shall be provided to the tracer wire
or the tracer wire shall terminate above ground at each end of the nonmetallic
gas piping at a building wall or riser. The tracer wire size shall not be less
than [18] 14 AWG and the insulation type shall be suitable for direct
burial.

M-809.7 Cutting or notching: A structural member shall not
be cut, notched or pierced [in excess of the limitations specified in the
building code listed in Chapter 21, unless proven safe by a structural analysis]
except as provided for in the building code.
