CHAPTER 12-1500. EFFECT OF TITLE
§12-1501. Repeal and Saving Provisions.
(1) The Ordinance approved March 25, 1946 (p. 122), as
amended, known as "The Traffic Ordinance," is hereby repealed, except that the
provisions contained in the schedules annexed to said ordinance regulating the
parking of vehicles and the direction of the movement of traffic on city streets
shall remain in full force and effect, until changed pursuant to the provisions
of this Title.
(2) All other ordinances or parts of ordinances
inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this Title are hereby
repealed.
(3) The repeal of the Ordinance of March 25, 1946, shall not
affect or prevent the prosecution or punishment of any person for any act done
or omitted in violation of said Ordinance, as amended, prior to the effective
date of this Title.
(4) All ordinances restricting the operation of
commercial or burden vehicles on city streets are hereby expressly saved from
repeal, and are continued in full force and effect.
