CHAPTER 3 QUALIFICATIONS
§3-304. City Solicitor.
The City Solicitor shall be a lawyer admitted to practice
before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and shall have had at least five
years' experience in active practice of the law.

Purposes: To qualify for the office of City Solicitor, a
person must be a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and must
have had five years' experience in the active practice of law which
includes private practice, practice as a government attorney, or a combination
of both. This is the minimum experience believed to be necessary for the proper
performance of the duties of the office.
